Elkhead Rock School Tour

More than 400 Mustang owners from Rocky Mountain Mustang clubs will convene in Steamboat Springs, Colorado over Father’s Day Weekend. Activities will include a scenic mountain tour, auto cross, Friday night social, Show n’ Shine Car Show and awards breakfast.
Spectators are welcome at the Meadows parking lot located at the corner of Mt. Werner Road and Pine Grove Road for Friday’s Autocross. Over 180 Ford Mustangs compete in this timed event. Saturday’s Show n’ Shine is a car lovers dream. Over 450 Ford Mustangs are on display up and down Lincoln Avenue for your viewing pleasure. Both events are free and open to the public.”

113th Annual Cowboys’ Roundup Days and 4th of July Celebration

131st Range Call Rodeo

“The first Meeker Rodeo was held in 1885 during the town’s Fourth of July celebration, and has continued on to make Range Call the “oldest rodeo in Colorado”. Each year during Range Call, two Colorado Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) performances are held, along with a local “Ranch Rodeo”.
The 131st Annual Range Call Rodeo will take place this July in Meeker Colorado
The Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series is the most successful weekly rodeo in the country. While the roots of rodeo in this modest little Northwestern Colorado ranch town/world class ski resort trace back over 100 years, the humble beginnings of the weekly rodeo were known in the mid 1970s as the “Friday Night Jackpot.” Contestants gathered once a week to compete for their accumulated entry fees.”
